Support Shirley Buhler's Kidney Transplant Recovery
Donation protected
As I’m sure many of you have seen our mom Shirley was in need of a kidney transplant as she was diagnosed with Membranous Neuropathy about 5 years ago. She has been managing via peritoneal dialysis at home but remained hopeful that one day she would get the call that there was a kidney for her.
We are so fortunate to share the news that she received the call for a new kidney on Saturday, April 26th and underwent a kidney transplant surgery on Monday, April 28th.
Over the last 5 years she has undergone multiple procedures to prepare for transplant day and to maintain as normal of a life as possible. Meanwhile the medical bills have continued to add up between travel, medication, appointments and procedures.
Knowing that they have a long road ahead financially with her recovery and one source of income we are hoping that we can help ease some of the stress and uncertainty that this can bring.
Please consider sharing this page and if you are able donate! We appreciate you all!
