I’m fundraising for my beloved dog, Shiloh, who is currently battling serious and complex health issues. Shiloh isn’t just a pet—he’s my heart, my best friend, and my emotional support through some of the hardest times in my life.
Recently, Shiloh suffered a seizure that led to emergency vet visits, urgent bloodwork, and tests. His labs revealed elevated liver enzymes, possible gallbladder mucocele, bile duct issues, and signs pointing to a congenital liver defect or liver shunt. He was also diagnosed with bile sludge, and there’s concern that past trauma to his liver may be causing worsening symptoms.
On top of that, he’s been experiencing extreme nausea, vomiting, appetite loss, and lethargy—all symptoms that leave me terrified every day. He’s now on several medications (including Ursodiol, Entyce, Cerenia, and Silymarin) and a prescription liver-support diet, and he’s undergoing more diagnostics like bile acid testing and urinalysis.
We’ve been told that he needs an ultrasound by a trained specialist to confirm whether he has a liver shunt or gallbladder obstruction. But right now, I can’t afford the next steps in his care, and time is critical.
Shiloh’s condition was worsened when someone fed him the wrong food despite strict medical orders. Since then, we’ve been in and out of vet clinics trying to stabilize him. I’ve exhausted savings, been denied CareCredit, and I’m struggling to stay afloat while giving Shiloh the care he needs and deserves.
I’m asking for help from anyone who’s willing. Every single dollar will go directly toward:
• His ultrasound and imaging
• Follow-up labs and rechecks
• His prescription diet and medications
• Emergency care if his seizures worsen again
Shiloh still has so much life and love in him. He plays with his toys, wags his tail when I come home, and tries to be strong for me—even when he’s clearly struggling. I just want to give him a fighting chance.
