My 2-year-old niece, Shiloh Grace VanHouten, was just diagnosed with Leukemia and has started her chemotherapy treatment. It’s the start of a long road to recovery and we want to give them help in any way possible.
Please consider donating to their Go Fund Me to help with some of the initial costs and to help with medical bills as they start to come in. The VanHoutens also appreciate gift cards to local restaurants at the hospital (Starbucks, Panera, McDonalds, Chick-fil-a, Qdoba, Taco Bell). Or check out Shiloh’s Amazon wishlist.
If you are not able to help financially, please join us in praying for their entire family.
A note from Mary and Eric:
”Please, please keep our Shiloh in your prayers.
Our beautiful sunshine girl was diagnosed with leukemia. It was discovered this past Saturday, and we have been in the pediatric ICU since then. We are told she will be here in the hospital for at least a month, likely longer. She has already made it through some procedures and has started chemotherapy. Shiloh has been so strong and so brave, and she is bringing joy to our PICU room and to the doctors and nurses around us.
Please pray for Shiloh, for healing, for successful treatment, for the many, many doctors and nurses around us, for Moses, and for us. Pray that she would find strength, hope, and joy in the estimated three years of treatment ahead of us. Our hearts are broken and heavy, and we ask for your prayers.”
