We are creating this fundraiser for my daughter, Shiloh, as she takes an incredible next step and goes away to school at the prestigious Alvin Ailey School in New York. Last fall, our family’s financial situation changed dramatically after a job loss. At the same time, Shiloh’s dad is retired, and our medical expenses have continued to grow. Even through these very hard circumstances, Shiloh has stayed focused, determined, and faithful to her dream. She finished strong as a record-breaking athlete, became a regional high jump champion, and earned the title of national dance champion with her Studio A dance team. Now, she has been accepted to Alvin Ailey, and we are so proud of everything she has worked for.

Even though Shiloh’s long-term goal is to become a doctor of sports medicine, her life-time passion and gift has been dance. Dancing at Ailey is an amazing opportunity and first step on the journey to fulfill her dream and her highest level. The funds raised will help cover her tuition, housing, and travel expenses as she begins this exciting chapter.
