Support Shiloh Rigney's Fight Against Cancer

Single mother of two children who was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. I'm raising money to help cover the cost of medical and funeral expenses, and something to leave behind for my babies.

I was told if my body does not respond to treatment that I have a year to live (Oct of '24). I'm a 45-year-old mother of an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. I've made peace with my upcoming death and thank God for every day I get with my children. But, I worry about when I'm gone. I don't want them to be burdened with the cost of my illness or bills. I'm also trying to set them up for when I'm gone. As a mother, that's what we strive for—making sure our children have what they need to succeed in this life. I pray God sees fit to allow me to watch them grow up, maybe graduate high school. But I'm grateful for any extra time, period. My hours are already affected at my job due to treatment, so saving has been hard.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance, God bless you all. My cancer has spread so now we are trying to stop the spread any further or the swiftness of the spread. They tell me there is no cure for me now. This is my second dance with colon cancer. I was diagnosed in 2019, and went through treatment until 2021. Unfortunately, it has returned and the outlook is grim. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Anything donated will be used to help pay bills and end-of-life costs. Again, thank you in advance for any help given. It just may put this worrying mother at ease to know I'm helping set my children up for when I'm gone.
