I'm Stephen Reed and I live in Orange, Australia. I was born in Nepal and lived there for several years.

This is my friend Shilash Bhadtal. He also lives in Orange, but his family is back in Nepal. His family house in Betrawati Bazaar has been wiped out by the 2026 Nepal-Tibet Flood. His father, mother and grandfather were able to escape the flood, but are now without a home.

I'm raising money to help Shilash find his family a safe place to live. His parents are currently still stranded in Betrawati. The funds we raise will be used to transport his family out of the flood prone area, and pay for renting a house for his father, mother and grandfather to live in while they recover from this tragic event.

Shilash's father is the pastor of Betrawati Church, and their house was the meeting place for their church gatherings. At least 17 of their church members were taken by the flood. Please continue to pray for members of Betrawati church as they grieve family and friends lost in this heartbreaking and devastating disaster.
