Shevauna, like any other young person, graduated from law school and was excited to start her new life. But in early November, everything changed. Shevauna started feeling full after eating just a little, and after visiting her doctor and undergoing several tests, she received devastating news: at just 24 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare cancer—squamous cell carcinoma.

Since then, Shevauna has faced countless hospitals/ doctor’s visits, rounds of chemotherapy, and significant weight loss. She has already undergone two surgeries to remove teratoma and additional masses. Now, she is facing an even greater challenge—a lesion has been found wrapped around her spinal cord, and she is currently admitted to the hospital for another urgent surgery. The road ahead is uncertain and overwhelming, but we are holding onto hope.

We are seeking financial assistance to help cover the mounting health costs. The funds raised will go directly toward doctor visits, chemotherapy, integrative oncology, and the urgent surgery Shevauna needs to remove the lesion around her spinal cord.
