“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:34-35
Sheryl Trottier has taken this commandment to heart, devoting her life to sharing the love of God with all she meets. With her quiet encouragement, welcoming nature, thoughtful advice, and constant prayer, Sheryl embodies the ever-presence of God’s love in subtle but powerful ways.
Early in 2024, Sheryl received a diagnosis of throat cancer, for which she underwent chemotherapy and radiation. Through the ordeal, she maintained her hope in God, entrusting herself to Him. Family and friends rallied behind her in prayer, and she was cleared. But in May of 2025, Sheryl discovered the battle had not yet ended.
We, her family, ask you to join us in prayer for the next stage of her journey. She faces surgery and its associated physical and emotional recovery, in addition to mounting medical costs and travel expenses for frequent appointments. If you feel called to and able to donate to help offset some of this hardship, your generosity is deeply appreciated, and—as always—the power of prayer is unparalleled. In whatever way you can, please help us ease Sheryl’s burdens on this difficult path and reflect the love she has spent a lifetime so freely giving.
** As Sheryl will be spending the next several weeks recovering, all funds from this campaign will be collected by her daughter, Melissa Kampa, who will ensure that every dollar raised goes straight to covering the expenses Sheryl is facing. We appreciate your kindness and support more than words can express.**
