My name is Robson Sheryar, and I am a 29-year-old Christian husband and father of two beautiful children: a 7-year-old boy and a 11-year-old girl. My family and I live in Karachi, Pakistan, a country where Christians face increasing persecution and danger every day. I have been serving as a minister in my local community,

spreading the love of Christ and providing hope to many who feel abandoned and forgotten. But now, my family is in urgent need of your help to escape the growing violence and intolerance we face due to our faith.

In Pakistan, Christians make up a small minority, and religious intolerance has reached dangerous levels in recent years. Just this past year, we have witnessed horrific attacks on Christian communities. Churches have been destroyed, homes destroyed, and innocent families driven from their homes. In August 2023, the devastating attack on Jaranwala saw over 20 churches destroyed

and entire Christian neighborhoods set ablaze, leaving thousands displaced. Similar acts of violence have also taken place in other cities, fueled by false blasphemy accusations that are all too common in Pakistan.

Like many other Christian families in Pakistan, we have been living under constant threat. I have received personal threats because of my ministry, and our home has been targeted simply because we profess faith in Christ. We have been harassed, ostracized, and now, we are deeply fearful for our lives.

My wife and I have done everything in our power to shield our children from the hatred and violence that surrounds us, but it’s becoming harder every day. Our 7-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter deserve a chance to grow up in a safe environment where they can pursue education and live without fear. It breaks our hearts to think of the future they face here in Pakistan if we cannot leave.

We are seeking refuge and safety in another country where we can practice our faith freely and raise our children in peace. But fleeing Pakistan and resettling in a new country comes with significant challenges and costs. We do not have the financial means to cover the legal fees, travel costs, and resettlement expenses on our own. This is why we are humbly asking for your support.
