Dear Friends and Family,
We’re reaching out with heavy hearts to share that our beloved mom, Sherry (Smith) Leach, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time. Less than a year ago, she was also diagnosed with Lupus, making this journey even more challenging.
On September 3rd, Sherry underwent surgery in hopes of removing the cancer. Unfortunately, she now faces 12 weeks of chemotherapy. As many of you know, Sherry is a fighter—she’s beaten cancer before, and we believe with all our hearts that she will beat it again.
But this fight comes with new obstacles. Due to the intensity of her treatments, she must pause her Lupus care until chemotherapy is complete. She is currently unable to work and is without employment. On top of this, she continues to care for her grandchildren, ages 4 to 17, who depend on her every day.
We’re asking for your support to help ease the financial burden so Sherry can focus fully on healing. Any contribution—no matter how small—would mean the world to her and our family. If you know of any resources or organizations that may be able to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Sherry or a family member directly.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity. With your help, we know Sherry can face this battle with strength, hope, and peace of mind.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Sherry & Family
