Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible sister, Sherry, who was recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
This diagnosis has turned our world upside down. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that slowly robs a person of their ability to walk, speak, move, and eventually breathe — all while the mind remains sharp and aware.
Despite this devastating news, my sister remains strong, courageous, and full of love. She’s always been the one helping others, offering support, encouragement, and a listening ear. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.
We’re raising funds to cover essential equipment and expenses that are quickly adding up:
**** In-home care and mobility devices*****
A power wheelchair to help her move independently
A specialized communication device as her speech declines
Medical supplies not covered by insurance
ALS is a cruel disease that not only affects the person diagnosed but also places a tremendous emotional and financial strain on families. Every dollar raised will go directly toward giving my sister the quality of life, comfort, and care she deserves.
If you can donate, we are deeply grateful. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, or social media. Your support — in any form — means the world to us.
Thank you for standing with us in this fight.
With love and gratitude,
Stephanie
