Hello, everyone! We are starting this page to help raise money for the most strong-willed person we know, our mom, Sherry; who was sadly diagnosed with stage IV metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma (lung cancer).

These past few months, Sherry has been having chest and back pain, as well as shortness of breath. With multiple visits to her physician and urgent care, they misdiagnosed her with costochondritis. Thinking this was the answer, Sherry was given muscle relaxers and went to the chiropractor to help alleviate the pain. However this past week she woke up to severe pain and shortness of breath and ended up in the ER. After days of bloodwork, CT scans, MRIs, and a biopsy, she was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic pulmonary adenocarcinoma (lung cancer), where they found lesions on the meninges of the brain and in the bones of her pelvis and spine.

Since the day our family found out she had cancer, the ball has not stopped rolling and circumstances have unfortunately taken a turn for the worse. She now has to go through multiple rounds of chemotherapy and MRIs, with a long road of recovery as well. For someone who would do anything to help anyone and everyone she knows, it’s now our turn to help the most amazing, kind-hearted, and beautiful person we all know and love.

Sherry is the most outgoing, loving, caring, hardworking, and strongest person we know. She’s been married to her husband Ken for 33 years, and is the mother of two loving children, Melanie (22) and Kyle (26). She will always go out of her way to put a smile on your face and offer you a compliment.

We are hoping to help alleviate financial stress on Sherry and Ken during this difficult time with this page, and we will continue to post updates as her journey continues.
