Hey everyone it's me again, I am reaching out to ask for help for a dear friend of mine. I basically grew up with Sherry as she worked with my Parents back in the day. See below for the reason that led me to start a GoFundMe:

In June she was found to have a nodule in her esophagus which lead to a referral to Hershey for an additional procedure to remove it. This was done the beginning of July. Pathology results came back as adenocarcinoma (esophageal cancer). She found out this devastating news all while grieving the loss of her grandson, Carter Wagner. She was referred to a surgical, oncologist in Hershey for a plan. Thankfully her PET scan revealed only stage 1. After a lengthy discussion with her surgeon and wanting the best outcome to remove the cancer, she has opted to have a partial esophagectomy (removal of her esophagus) in November. This is an extensive 12-16 hour surgery and at least a week in the hospital.

With limited vacation/sick time, we are looking to help offset some of the financial burden her and her beloved husband will have during the months of healing, missing work, and travel. If you know Sherry D. Honstine Miles , you know she is an amazing, smart, beautiful, independent woman. Her amazing husband, Wes Miles Sr. , will be by her side every step of the way while he misses work as well.
