Support Sherri's Passing and Family Needs

Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie Edmiston. I have been a friend of the Winn-Carr family for many years. As most of you know, Sherri suffered a subdural hematoma. She was med-evac’d to ORMC and rushed into emergency surgery on April 7th and has been in ICU since. Four days later, she had another brain bleed and was rushed back into surgery. Sherri is one of the most giving people in the world. She would drop everything to do anything for anyone! She would go out of her way to help you out! Randy, her husband, would do the same! They make a great team! Randy owns a landscaping business with only one other employee. He is unable to work right now because he needs to be with Sherri to be available to make important decisions.
Along with their four biological kids (Morgan, 29, Garrett, 27, Cameron, 23, and Noelle, 22), Sherri and Randy recently officially adopted their three nieces (Cassidy, 18, Laila, 15, and Skylar, 7) and are raising them like their own. Morgan, their oldest daughter, started a meal train, which has been super helpful, but many people asked how to help monetarily. I am starting this GoFundMe to raise funds so that Randy is able to continue to be with Sherri in the hospital, take care of their household, and take care of any possible expenses that arise.
Right now, we are not sure how long Sherri will be in ICU/Hospital. It could be weeks or it could be months. Once she is discharged from the hospital, she will be moved to an inpatient rehab center for an undetermined length of time before she is able to go home. I was there Sunday and we talked to the Neurosurgeon. Randy said to her “I just want my wife to open her eyes”. The Neurosurgeon’s response was “This is a marathon not a sprint!”. This family is such a caring, giving, kind-hearted group who would drop everything to help those in need. If you are able to support this family (even in small amounts) in their time of need, we greatly appreciate it. Sherri, we love you and we can’t wait to see you come out of this even stronger.
