Hello, I am Kayla, I am trying to help raise funds for a co-worker and dear friend, Sherri and her family. One day I walked up to the front desk in the clinic and watched this typically wonderful, cheery bright face sit sad at her desk tearing up papers. I asked what was she doing, filing paperwork? She said no, it is another doctor bill and I have no money to pay it so I don't know what else to do with it.

Hi. Our family has had a really long 2 years. It began with Mickey having his finger amputated after a work accident. Never returning to work as a pic line with daily IV antibiotics was needed. Fast forward to September of last year, he had a stroke. Today still speech, balance and of course thinking skills affected. This past January, development of an ulcer and major infection on his foot has led to a toe and side of foot amputation, congestive heart failure, kidney function decrease, two angioplasty procedures and of course diabetes. He has had home nurses, pic line antibiotics, and in and out of hospital since September about 6 times. Fast forward to today. Mickey is back in hospital with infection in foot again that may be in the bone. What does this mean? I’m not really sure, but what I do know is we are both mentally and physically exhausted. What we need is true prayers. There is still a long road to recovery, and prayer is what is going to get us through this. Thank you for listening and being there. ❤️

I am hoping that through a loving community we can try to help Sherri catch up on some of the ever growing hospital bills that the family is facing and at least provide some support so that they can keep the electricity on in the house and groceries in the fridge. If you can find it in your heart to offer even the smallest donation I know I and Sherri would be forever grateful.
