As most of you know, our dear friend, Sherrill has been battling ovarian cancer for almost ten years. Over the years, she has been in and out of treatments that have worked, but the cancer has always returned. She was diagnosed as stage 4 and remains at that stage. At this point, the cancer has metastasized to her liver, peritoneum, and her lungs. It is not curable, but there are still some options. Currently, they are treating her liver with radiation beads. She has been accepted into a trial that will have her traveling to Mayo Clinic. Sherrill’s insurance doesn’t cover most of her medications, and we are not sure if they will cover the clinical trials.

With travel back and forth to Rochester, this could become a financial hardship on Sherrill and Joe. They will need to travel back and forth quite often, for days at a time. We are asking for your support in helping to make this a reality for them and to ensure they can cover medications, travel expenses, hotel stays, food, and any other expenses that may arise.
