Support Sherri Lucas: Beloved Group Fitness Instructor

Hello, thank you for taking your time to visit this page! My name is Sue and I have known Sherri as a fellow ZUMBA instructor for over 10 years. Sherri Lucas is a friend and one of the best fitness instructors in the area. Her love for her students and teaching makes her a true inspiration! She teaches at the YMCA and several other locations and is well loved by everyone she comes in contact with. If you have taken one of Sherri's classes; whether ZUMBA, Yoga, Silver Sneakers etc, you know what I am talking about. Further, many know her from her days as one of the owners of Way Out Club and as a radio host.

A few weeks ago, she had to go on medical leave and is left with unexpected medical expenses. In addition, unable to teach her many weekly classes, she has not been able to earn a regular income either. Her YMCA Carondelet students started raising funds amongst themselves and thought supplementing that effort with an official GoFundMe campaign for people who would like to participate would be a good idea.

Please consider contributing to our campaign, whether large or small… any amount is very much appreciated. Sherri does not know about our fundraising efforts.
