Help Support My Amazing Mom During Her Recovery

Hi, my name is Sherkira and I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mother, a 70-year-old woman who has spent her entire life caring for others as a dedicated CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She's been working independently and supporting herself well into her senior years, but a recent accident has left her unable to work and in urgent need of our support.

A few days ago, my mother suffered a severe fall and broke both of her legs. Doctors have estimated her recovery will take 6 to 8 weeks, during which she will be completely out of work. Unfortunately, her job does not offer any medical leave or financial benefits, which means she will have no source of income during this time.

This is a woman who has spent decades helping the elderly—lifting, feeding, comforting, and advocating for others with compassion and strength. Now she’s the one in need of care, and it’s our turn to be there for her.

Funds raised will go toward:

Rent and household bills

Groceries and basic living expenses

Medical-related needs during recovery

Transportation to follow-up appointments

Anything you can contribute, no matter how small, will help relieve the burden on her shoulders and ensure she can heal without the added stress of financial insecurity.
