I have a friend that helped me take care of my husband that was sick and nearing the end of his life. She helped me navigate the many issues that come with taking care of a terminally ill loved one. He has since passed and now she is the one that is needing the same kind of help. Sheri Francois (Hunnicutt) is a single mom that raised two children and was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2009 l, had a partial hysterectomy and was then diagnosed with fibromyalgia, lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. In 2010 she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. In 2012 she did chemo/radiation and the breast cancer came back in 2015. She did chemo again. It came back in 2018 and she did another round of chemo and radiation. In 2023 metastatic breast cancer spread to her right lung and now in 2025 the cancer has spread to her bones and bone marrow. She is down to 84 lbs, does not qualify for disability after completed attempts to file for it because one of her cancer doctors did an experimental treatment for her cancer, she lives alone and with the Compassionate Care act she is able to do THC but it does not really help keep up her appetite or get rid of the pain she feels on a daily basis. She is now on palliative care.

I have started this gofundme page in an effort for her to live out the rest of her days without worrying how or when she will receive her next meal and for her to be able to keep her health insurance as long as she can. She has a wonderful companion male long haired chihuahua that helps to keep her sane.
