In October 2024, Sherida was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer at the young age of 40. The past 11 months have been a whirlwind of emotions—endless doctor appointments, hospital visits, and overnight stays in Houston. Through it all, she has shown incredible courage, but the reality of this battle is overwhelming.
Her invasive treatment has forced her to stop working full-time, leaving her Husband (our son) as the sole provider for their family. They are raising three young boys who need their mom more than ever, and every day is a balancing act between hope, fear, and financial stress.
We are constantly asked by friends and family, “What can we do to help?” The truth is—there are real, immediate needs. Donations will go directly toward:
- Travel expenses to MD Anderson in Houston
- Hotel stays and meals while she undergoes treatment
- Meals and care for the kids when their mom is away
- Denied treatments and tests (more common than you would expect ☹)
