Shep was diagnosed with liver cancer April 2024. Over the last year, he has been doing chemotherapy and radiation, but it was not successful in taking it completely away. He was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona to see if he qualified for a new transplant program. After a lot of testing, Shep received the exciting news he qualified. And now, the Mayo Clinic informed him that he should be prepared to have his liver transplant at any time!

While this is an answered prayer, Shep needs our help. The Mayo Clinic requires Shep to have a caretaker with him Arizona for 4-6 weeks while he is recovering. The plan is for his wife, Veronica, to accompany him along with their sons, Ethan and new baby Salvador. While in Arizona, they will not be able to work and will have no way to support themselves. They need financial assistance to cover the cost of airfare, lodging, a rental car, food, and medical expenses they have to pay. Any amount you can give will be a huge blessing to them and alleviate the financial stress to make it possible for him to receive this life saving procedure.
