Dear friends and community members,

My name is Nick, and the west side of LA has been my home the past 13 years. I've watched so many lose everything over the past 24-48 hours and seen many close friends displaced by the fires. Many of the volunteer opportunities are still days away, and there is seemingly little that can be done now. The best way for people to help is by supporting local shelters and first responders. As such, I am trying to get money/ supplies to the front line as quick as possible.

As many of you may know, the fires in Palisades have escalated dramatically, forcing countless families to evacuate their homes and seek shelter. This crisis has left many without basic necessities, and the need for assistance is urgent.

I am organizing a relief effort and will head to the shelters for the next few days to provide food and water to those in need. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of these individuals and families who have lost so much.
