Hi, I'm Cindy Zierk, and I’m reaching out to you today to support Asheville, NC's Shelter Dog Transport Alliance with their pilot spay and neuter program "WNC Spay Neuter Alliance". WNCSNA is donation based and provides low or no cost spay and neuter for cats and dogs of Graham and Cherokee counties in the Appalachian mountains. It is their hope that with more donations the program can expand to surrounding counties. Together, we can prevent unnecessary euthanasia and reduce overcrowding in shelters by spaying and neutering at-risk animals. Those that are homeless are transported by SDTA to loving homes in Northern states where they are welcomed with open arms.
