Support Shelly's Recovery After Car Accident

Hello, my name is Shelly, and I am a dedicated nurse who recently experienced a life-changing car accident on 4/3/25 while on my way to care for one of my patients. This unfortunate event has left me unable to work, and I am reaching out for help during this incredibly challenging time. I have multiple diagnoses that are keeping me from going back to work at this time and require further testing. Workers compensation only pays a small portion of my paycheck and also is slowly approving all the tests and specialists needed. At this time it is unknown when I'll be able to go back to work or if I'll be able to go back.

I am a mother of two wonderful children and a step-parent to three more. Additionally, I care for my disabled mother, which adds to the financial strain our family is currently facing. With my inability to work, we are struggling to cover our basic needs, such as lights, water, housing and food.
