Please Help Support Shelly's Battle with Stage 4 Lung Cancer

Dear Friends and Compassionate Strangers,

Our world was turned upside down when my mother, Shelly was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes, stomach, colon, and her bloodstream. As she goes through her treatment, we’re asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time.

My mom has always been a strong, independent woman who has worked tirelessly to support herself. As a single-income household, she’s now faced with the challenge of managing not only her health but also her finances. She is currently on short-term disability, but the process of setting up long-term disability is slow, and in the meantime, she’s struggling to cover her monthly living expenses and medical expenses that insurance does not cover.

We want nothing more than for my mom to be able to focus fully on her recovery and healing, without the constant worry of bills piling up. That’s why we’re reaching out for help. Your donations will go directly toward her rent, utilities, medications, medical procedures, and other essential costs as she navigates through treatment.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from family, friends, and her church community. The love and encouragement she has received has been a tremendous source of strength and is making a real difference in her recovery efforts. My mom is greatly loved, and knowing that people care so deeply is helping her face each day with hope and determination.
