Hello, this is Tonya and Brent McCarty and we have been great lifetime friends of Shelly McLean, she has been diagnosed with advanced colon cancer in July 2024. Shelly has undergone numerous tests, and it has been determined that she will need to travel from Mackinac Island to Petoskey 5 days a week for 3 months to undergo radiation and chemo treatments along with frequent checkups with Oncology.

These treatments will not allow Shelly to work. Her life partner John Kissane and their teenage son Mason are both vision impaired and are not able to drive.

These funds raised are to help arrange and pay for transportation, food, lodging, loss wages and medical bills.
