2025 has been an incredibly challenging year for Shelly and Larry, and right now, they need our support more than ever.
Their hardships began in January when Larry was hospitalized for 10 days due to a brain aneurysm, requiring ongoing outpatient physical therapy. Just as they started navigating his recovery, tragedy struck again—on March 6th, Shelly broke her hip and underwent an emergency hip replacement. She was out of work for eight weeks as she recovered with physical therapy, only to return for just nine days before another devastating setback.
Shelly’s tibia had detached from her artificial knee, leaving her unable to bear weight on her leg. She endured three weeks confined to a wheelchair before undergoing corrective surgery on May 22nd. Though the procedure was successful, she is still out of work, facing another eight weeks of recovery and therapy before she can return.
Shelly and Larry have always been the kind of people who lend a helping hand to others. Now, it’s our turn to lift them up. With your generosity, we can help them regain financial stability and ease the burden they are carrying. No amount is too small—every dollar truly makes a difference.
