❤️Help My Friend Shell Heal❤️

This week, my dear friend Michelle “Shell” Johnson was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 37 years old.

Shell is one of those rare people who gives everything she has to others , especially to animals in need. She’s deeply involved in the animal rescue and transport community, constantly juggling foster after foster. But she doesn’t just take in any fosters , she focuses on the ones who are out of time, the ones on the euthanasia list, and somehow always finds a way to save them. That’s who she is , selfless, strong, and full of love.

Now, she’s facing something none of us ever want to imagine. She has an MRI on October 30th to find out if the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes and a consult with a surgeon on November 3rd to determine next steps. The waiting, the unknown , it’s all overwhelming.

I want to help take away even a small part of the weight she’s carrying. My hope with this fundraiser is to give Shell the freedom to focus on healing , both physically and emotionally , without the added stress of worrying about work or finances. She deserves to take this time to rest and recover, not rush back to work before her body and heart are ready.
