Hi, my name is Shelley. I never thought I would be doing something like this, but life has taken an unexpected turn. Since the end of September, I have been out of work due to a movement disorder called tardive dystonia that we haven’t been able to get under control. On top of that, I have vertebrae pinching nerves, causing horrible pain, numbness, tingling, and burning from the left side of my neck, upper back, through my shoulder, and down my arm. Until the tardive dystonia is managed, I can’t have the surgery I need to relieve these symptoms.

My parents have been helping me as much as they can, but I am hoping to find additional support to take some of the burden off of them. The funds raised will go toward covering my bills, mortgage, and medications that insurance won’t cover while I am unable to work and waiting for treatment. Any amount will help and make a real difference in my life during this difficult time.
