Support Shelley & Jody After Tragic Accident

On Tuesday, October 15, Shelley and Jody’s lives were changed forever. A speeding driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the front of their home. Shelley suffered multiple injuries, including the immediate loss of one leg. She has already endured five surgeries, with many more expected. Shelley remains critical in the ICU at Duke University Hospital, facing an unimaginable painful and lengthy recovery. Shelley and Jody’s daughter, young grandson, and beloved dogs were also involved in the incident. Their grandson was injured but is thankfully recovering. Adding to their hardship, their home was condemned. This trauma has left them with overwhelming expenses.
