In May of this year my beloved mom Shelia Broughton suffered a sudden and devastating stroke that has turned our world upside down. Once vibrant, independent, and full of life she now faces a long road to recovery. The stroke has left my mom with speech difficulties and partial paralysis, and she is currently undergoing intensive medical treatment and rehabilitation at a local facility.
