Support Local Young Artists Community Concert

The Teal Lounge Discord server, which once went by the name of the Sheldon High School Discord server, is comprised mostly of students from Sheldon High School and who live in the local area of South Sacramento and Elk Grove. While this Discord server started out as originally just a friends-only server, it exploded when its mostly-class of 2024 students entered Sheldon High School. From there, it became a large community that began to host many community-bonding events, such as a Music Week that functions as essentially a March Madness-style music competition and an annual Secret Santa.

Now, this rapidly growing community is embarking on its grandest event yet: a server concert. Produced and staged by people from all walks of life in the community, this concert will surely be an incredible spectacle for all to witness. It will celebrate the burgeoning musical culture in the community as shown by Music Week songs and other server influences.

By contributing, you not only help our community host this grand concert, but you support a local group of kids seeking to show their artistic talent and excellence to the world. As most server members have just recently graduated Sheldon High School, these people will serve as the next-generation of leaders from Sacramento and Elk Grove. By supporting our event, you will support the future of our growing community and its increasing influence on the server.

Our community is raising these funds in order to pay the rental price of staging the concert on Strauss Island at Elk Grove Regional Park. Additional funds will be used to pay for concert equipment, such as a sound system, speakers, amplifiers, instrument rentals, props, clothes, and more. Every dollar after the $750 mark will only help improve the quality and grandeur of the concert!

We appreciate all donations and we hope that this concert can succeed! If this concert goes through, admission will be free, so all people in the greater Sacramento and Elk Grove area can come and support!
