Shelby is my friend and co-worker, and she recently experienced a life-changing event. She was in a motorcycle accident when she was hit by a car, resulting in a fractured pelvis. Shelby has already undergone one surgery and faces a long road to recovery ahead. Because of her injuries, she is unable to work at this time, which has put her in a difficult financial situation.
