Shelby was born with a rare congenital heart defect, Truncus Arteriosus. She has had several open heart surgeries since birth and will continue to have them throughout her life. She is a wife and mother of two boys, Riley and Sawyer. Shelby will be having surgery on October 21, at UAB in Birmingham,to repair her heart, replace valves and conduit tube. She hasn't worked in a few years due to her condition and could really use a little help to keep the kids and her husband close to her during her surgery and recovery.
