Hello! My name is Shelby Yount. I am a singer, songwriter, musician, and entertainer. Currently, I am completing my bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas.

I am recording my very first EP of all original music. For those who do not know, an EP is a small collection of songs, like a short album. This EP combines influences from a lot of the music that I have loved growing up and learning, from rock to jazz to funk. I am very proud to be recording this project. This project is about my experience combining my life with my music, featuring music inspired by Billy Joel, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Lake Street Dive. It also features music about my experience leaving home and moving cross-country.
