Hi everyone, firstly thank you for taking the time to open, read, & share. A lot of you that know us know it’s extremely hard & rare for us to ask for any kind of help.

On August 23rd, me and Joe were in a horrible boating accident. It’s taken not only a physical toll but a mental and financial toll on both of us. After being knocked unconscious, I was thrown around the boat and broke through the cabin where I was found and carried off the boat. Covered in blood, I crawled all the way up the rocks and made my way to shore. I was completely out of it and walked home not knowing what was going on until I saw the ambulance pulling in and I walked to the ambulance.

We were taken to Harbor Hospital, where I was treated for a gash in my face that went completely through to my teeth that received 10 stitches to close and 7 staples in the back of my head for another gash, plus 3 additional lacerations in my head. Joe was transferred to Shock Trauma for internal bleeding coming from a laceration on his liver. Needless to say, we’re completely beat up, in pain, and hardly able to move. With 3 kids, 1 with special needs, life doesn’t slow down when your body does.

We haven’t been given a time frame of when Joe is allowed to safely return to work, and I can’t even drive or stand up long enough to cook. We’re unfortunately asking if anyone has any means to donate and try to help relieve some of this stress at this time, please do and if not, sharing goes a long way.
