Support Shelby and Lillyana's Medical Journey

On March 12, Shelby and Justin welcomed their beautiful daughter, Lillyana, into the world. Born with a cleft lip and cleft palate, Lillyana remains in the NICU, and her discharge date is still uncertain. She has a long medical journey ahead, with her first reconstructive surgery scheduled at three months old and another at around 18 months. In addition to these surgeries, she will require ongoing specialized medical care, therapy, and expensive feeding equipment.

While the family was already facing these challenges, tragedy struck again. Shelby, who had undergone a C-section, was released from the hospital on March 15, but in the middle of the night, she was rushed back to the ER. She has been diagnosed with postpartum cardiomyopathy with pulmonary edema. Shelby went into cardiac arrest and flatlined, but by the grace of God and the incredible medical team, she was revived. She is now in critical condition in the ICU, sedated and on a ventilator. Every moment is crucial in her fight to recover.

The Thompson family is facing an overwhelming road ahead—physically, emotionally, and financially. Between Shelby’s critical condition and Lillyana’s extensive medical needs, the costs are mounting rapidly. Justin and their family need to be by their side, ensuring they receive the care and support they need. Funds raised will help cover:

- Medical expenses for both Shelby and Lillyana, including past, present, and future treatments

- Cost of living expenses while Justin and family focus on caregiving

- Travel expenses for Lillyanna’s medical care

- Specialized feeding equipment for Lillyana

- Potential rehabilitation and long-term care for Shelby

- Any other unforeseen expenses that arise as the family navigates this journey

Shelby’s mother, Pam Worley, will oversee the funds to ensure they are used appropriately to support Shelby, Lillyana, and Justin during this incredibly difficult time.
