On 06/23/25, Shelagh Helfin (Our beloved grandma aka Nanny ) was on her way back home from the vet with her dog Daisy. She was hit by a car who tried to pass her and ultimately ended up in an extreme car accident. Daisy is fine but the accident left Shelagh in the hospital with a broken spine, neck, and ribs.

Up until yesterday, Shelagh was working extremely hard and this accident is putting her out of work for at least the next year. Not only is she in horrific pain, she lost her only way of income.

We are raising funds for her medical bills, household expenses, and her aftercare.

Shelagh has been apart of the marble falls community for years. She feeds the stray cats outside her home, she goes to church every Sunday. If you don’t know her, you may have seen her walking her dog Daisy at the Johnson Park!

Our nanny is the most kind human being to walk this planet. She’s a devoted grandmother, mom, churchgoer and friend to many. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. She is a woman that does nothing but spread joy and happiness to those around her. In this moment Shelagh needs help.
