I'm thrilled to share that I've overcome stage 4 cancer and I'm staying positive as I prepare for my PET scan on Wednesday. I'd be grateful for your prayers and support. Recent MRI results suggest a possible metastasis to my thoracic spine. I'm focusing on hope and healing. I've been deepening my faith and connection with God and I'm reminded that life is precious and worthy of appreciation. I'm choosing to slow down and cherish every moment. Know that I love Jesus!

Great report today! Cancer Free per cancer grade. ALL margins good with no cancer grade. Not definite of course for the long term of return. Three month checks indefinitely. If it shows elsewhere at any point it will be very early. PET scan and new genetic testing with blood work to rule out anything anywhere other than the surgery site...and three month checks thereafter!

Surgery went well. Some nodes were sent off. If they are good, I get stage 3. If not, I'm stage 4. Pray for nodes to be okay. Thanks everyone for sticking with me!

Update on my cancer diagnosis... In less than 2 weeks on December 12th I will have a 4 hour surgery at Vanderbilt. Please continue the prayers!

I appreciate everyone who has made visits or sent gifts...and for checking in on me. Chemo and Immunotherapy was rough. Continue prayers for me for the 12th for God to guide the surgeon and for a good recovery.

Skipped a week of chemo and immunotherapy. My body was telling me no more right now. I'm having panic attacks. Can't sleep!

Needed a break. Infusion again Friday.

My cancer is stage 4. End of the year I will have removed: kidney, uter, part of intestine, part of colon, and a section of spleen. Some fat tissue and a major artery will be replaced. Yes! I've never heard of that either! Amazing the things they do these days. With God and guidance from the doctors, I am going to push forward as long as possible. Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, texts, calls, and transportation to Vanderbilt. Oh and I lost my hair! I love you all! Keep praying!

Made my trip to Vanderbilt! A new chemo seems to be the best option. I'll be having all treatments at Vanderbilt. Doctor seems to be confident all will work out and be able to have kidney removed after 3 months of treatment. This place is amazing! I'm feeling more positive. Keep up the prayers and thoughts! I appreciate it so much!

I go Tuesday to CCI for PET scan. If any spread other than what's know, I can't have kidney removed. If no spread, on to having removal. Please pray it can be removed. It's my only chance of survival. I appreciate from the bottom of my heart all the texts, calls, visits, and help! Please remember me in your prayers!

Results are back! Urothelial cancer yet mass is inside kidney as well...making it completely complicated. I see surgeon at Vanderbilt or UAB first of week for a treatment plan. Dr Dang from CCI suggests chemo to shrink then removal. He states that it's a very complicated surgery with Vena Cava involved. Continue the prayers that all make the best decisions in my case. Prayers for my family and friends to understand the process and continue support. Prayers for my mom who doesn't understand but know it's serious as she says. She has Alzheimer's.

I've had outpouring of phone calls, texts, and visits for which I am thankful! The special person in my life has been with me the past 3 months of this and has shown up for me in many ways. Prayers for Rickey Harper! Being by my side and showing support...couldn't ask for better!

I'm going to fight! I'm gonna make it for however Gods sees fit! Prayers for me to remain strong as my brother says!

Results are no spread to brain or lungs! Bone scan is next. Needle biopsy in the AM because couldn't get what was needed with traveling uretha biopsy.

The TUMOR is wrapped around veins and arteries exiting the kidney so removal isn't possible at this point. CHEMO at Cancer Institute CCI when out of here. Continue prayers for me and my family, the CCI team, and Dr Dang at CCI for the best treatment plan!

Prayers much needed!! Some of you may know that I've been struggling with pain a couple months now. CT today revealed a mass and pretty certain it is Kidney cancer. Biopsy in the morning to determine type and to guide in rule out spread. Then on to Vanderbilt for kidney removal. I believe in the power of prayer!
