Support Sheila Gilchrist's Medical Journey

Update: Sheila has improved some. She has inflammation in chest and around her lungs. They are doing alot of testing to find the cause of inflammation. She has now been moved to ICU so she can get more medication/ stronger antibiotic steroids and keep a very close eye on her. God is moving in his timing. We are inpatient and want her miracle now. But his timing his plan we are seeing it. She is going to have an awesome testimony. God is so good.

Tues 6/3 11:40pm Update Sheila is on the way back to hospital O2 dropped to low again simply going to the restroom.

I am creating this gofundme for a loved family member that has major medical issue.

Sheila Gilchrist got pneumonia on top of pulmonary fibrosis. Her oxygen is dropping to in the 70,60,50,&40. Yes you read that right. Yes we are concerned about lack of oxygen to the brain.

She was in the hospital last week for several days. They sent her home with antibiotics, a larger home concentrator, saying pneumonia was clearing up. The larger concentrator is for when her O2 drops can be turned up to 6 - 7.

Sheila has a strong faith that God is going to take care of her. She just has to walk out her miracle.

Sheila has a great support system. Her husband Gray Gilchrist and step son Matthew Gilchrist. They are doing all they can do to help her around the house, her home therapy and her emotional support. This has zapped her strength that she will get built back up.

Her lung dr is sending her to Chapel Hill, to see a group of dr on the transplant team. Her and Gray are low on funds to make this unexpected trip so quickly. Gray is also on oxygen and has been to see this group. He will be doing the driving from their home in Cedar Bluff, VA to Chapel Hill, NC.

This is very stressful for them both. Need prayers. But also could use help with hotel 2 nights , food 3 days, and gas. I am asking everyone to open there heart and donate any amount you can. Goal is $600
