Support Sheena's Journey to Graduation Day

Hey everyone.

As you may know me, I am Rasheena, but I honestly prefer to go by Sheena! A lot of you all have followed me throughout all of my academic and athletic careers throughout my entire life.

As you all may also know, I’ve recently graduated with my Master of sScience degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University my degree was conferred on February 2, 2025. My university is an online platform so they have only three graduations throughout the year. I will be attending the graduation in Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center on July 11 or 12th, 2025.

I have been working full-time throughout all of this time to take care of my bills as well as things that may pop up such as emergencies or health concerns. I am currently in a financial bind where I am struggling to find the money and do not foresee much money coming in, in the near future, to pay for these fees for graduation.

In the fundraiser photos, I have included the deadlines and cost of graduation registration, cap and gown, and a first generation stole, which is something that is extremely valuable to me as a first generation graduate of masters degree AND not being able to walk in May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic while my mother was still alive to see it. The stole means very much to me.

This is a shot in the dark for me and not something that I am used to doing, asking for financial assistance, but it is something that I feel a lot of you all would understand and maybe willing to help.

I am always honest and open about my journey and my struggles for the most part. I am asking for any donations you are able and willing to contribute. It is 100% going towards these costs. Transportation is simple because I will be driving to and from on graduation day.
