Our amazing friend Shay was in a skiing accident on December 21st, 2024.

It is a true miracle and blessing that she was found by her wonderful husband Benjamin and is still with us today.

Shay was airlifted to a nearby hospital where she received emergency spinal surgery. Shay is unfortunately paralyzed from the chest down. She is stable currently, but still has a lot of recovering to do. In addition to the paralysis, she also has a partially collapsed lung, injured rib and broken arm.

As you can imagine this is a huge shock to both Shay and Benjamin. They are surrounded by loved ones and are finding comfort in their deeply rooted faith.

If you know the newlyweds well, they are the most loving, selfless and amazing people!

As you can imagine the recovery process will take a long time both physically and mentally.

I'd love for them to not have to worry about upcoming expenses. Focusing on recovering and coming home should be their only major concern at this time.

Please help us save them some peace of mind in this time. Any amount will help tremendously!
