Support Shay's Family Through Medical Crises

Hello, my name is Jacklyn and I am a chosen family member of Shay!

I had the pleasure of meeting Shay back in 2015 when she began her journey as our family photographer. The rest is kind of history and we’ve been friends since. I've had the pleasure of watching Shay marry her best friend, grow into an amazing photographer, advocate for what she believes in but most importantly be the strong warrior her family has truly needed, especially recently.

on Thanksgiving morning Olivia (Shay’s daughter 16) tragically broke her back in 5 places and suffered a concussion so bad they classified it as a traumatic brain injury when she accidentally fell down the stairs.

Not only is Shay already worried about her daughter but she already has a very medically fragile son Landon, her home, her own health concerns, bills, her son Jace and as you know everything in between being a wife, entrepreneur AND mother of 3! I truly don’t know how this woman does it.

Recently her own health issues have crept up again. She is ow looking at a number of surgeries for herself, both minor and major. She is going to be without work for some time. This is partucularlly difficult for a small business owner.

The last thing Shay should have to be worried about is how to make ends meet during already hard times, paying for medical bills, including a back brace that insurance won’t be covering, and try to just focus on what truly matters at hand. Her family. This family deserves the world as hard times and constant hospital visits seems to be their new normal, and I’ve never met someone so giving and caring as Shay.
