Hello! I'm Larisa, Shayla Mumaw's sister. As some of you may know, Shayla was diagnosed with anal cancer at the end of September this year. This cancer is very treatable but the treatment has to be very aggressive. She is finishing up her 4th week of radiation at this time. Her first week consisted of a chemo bag and radiation. The chemo bag was then removed but she has continued the radiation 5 days a week. On Monday, Nov 17, she will get the chemo bag again for a week and continue radiation for 2-3 more weeks. She sure is a trooper!!

At this time Shayla is unable to work and it's unknown when she will feel like getting back to work. Matt, her husband, has worked overtime and is also trying to be there for her as well.

If we could all help out to pay just 2 months rent for them to get through at least January that would relieve A LOT of stress.
