Assalamu 'alaykum. My name is Areeb Khan, I reside in Southern California and I am raising funds on behalf of one of my teachers who teaches at al-Jamiah al-Binoria Madrasah in Karachi, Pakistan. Here is his story:

I hope this message finds you in good health and well-being.

My name is Muhammad Alavi Abdullah, and I am originally from Sri Lanka. I am currently serving as a teacher in a religious institution (Madrasa) in Pakistan. I am a father of six children, and with utmost humility, I am writing to request your kind financial assistance for the medical treatment of one of my children.

At the time of birth, my child was diagnosed with a severe congenital defect in the lower part of the spine. There was a swelling on his lower back, which had already ruptured at birth. Due to the critical condition, the doctors immediately recommended surgery, and the operation was performed on the second day after his birth.

Since then, my child has been suffering from multiple serious medical complications, including:

* Loss of control over urination and bowel movements

* Severe weakness in both legs, making him unable to stand or walk independently

* Complications affecting both kidneys

We continued his treatment in Sri Lanka for approximately two and a half years under the supervision of various hospitals and medical specialists. Despite considerable effort and financial expense, unfortunately, no significant improvement was achieved.

Afterward, I moved to Pakistan for my teaching responsibilities and continued my child’s treatment alongside my duties. However, due to limited medical facilities, we were still unable to achieve satisfactory progress.

At present, I have brought my child back to Sri Lanka. Based on the advice of doctors here, we have been strongly recommended to seek advanced and specialized treatment in countries such as Turkey or India, where proper facilities for this condition and rehabilitation services are available.

The total estimated cost for this treatment—including travel expenses, hospital fees, accommodation, and other essential needs—is approximately USD 38,000 to 40,000.

As a teacher with limited financial means and the responsibility of supporting a large family, it is extremely difficult for me to arrange such a substantial amount on my own.

Therefore, I humbly request your kind support and financial assistance to help us provide the necessary treatment for my child. Any contribution, no matter how small, would bring immense hope and relief to our family and could significantly improve my child’s quality of life.

May Almighty Allah reward you abundantly for your generosity and kindness, and ease all your affairs.
