In April 2026, 6-year-old Shayara was diagnosed with Wilms tumor, a rare form of kidney cancer. Since her diagnosis, Shayara has undergone surgery to remove the tumor, but it ruptured in the process. This has caused Shayara to need weekly chemotherapy treatments, over an hour away from her home, in Orlando, FL.

The money raised from this fundraiser will help cover medical and financial costs for Shayara and her family, as the treatments will continue for the foreseeable future.

We have been given permission by Shayara’s family (her dad is a coworker) to create this fundraiser on their behalf.
