Hello my name is Shawntel. I am a single mother of 2 amazing kiddos. I have been battling thyroid issues for many years. In September 2025 my primary care doctor discovered I had a lump where could feel. They sent me for thyroid ultrasounds in the same month! That resulted in having many thyroid nodules showing on that. So then they said let’s repeat that in a year. I didn’t make it a year before I had to have one. I had to go back for a repeat in January(2026). That one came back that the nodules have grown bigger in size . So my endocrinologist read the results and said well now it’s time for a biopsy. I had that done on January 28th. Not the results I was looking for. It came back that I had atypical cells. They sent it off to an outside facility. They came back and said pretty much it’s looking like 50% or more chance it’s cancer and they request it be removed. I go for my consult on March 13th. Once I have this surgery I could be off work for an entire month. I am the only person that works and my bills are going to take a huge hit. Any and all help would greatly be appreciated!

I don’t want to ask for it but at this point my children deserve it.
