Hello, my name is Lisa Oakley and Shawn is my son in law has been diagnosed with throat and tonsil cancer.

Shawn has already missed a great deal of work due to being ill prior to diagnosis. Now he's missing even more seeing Dr's.,more testing, and preparing for surgery scheduled July 11th.

The hospital already demanded a large sum of money to pay the insurance deductible. They refused to do the needed petscan or schedule the surgery without the money.

Also, you may already know Rachell is unable to work because of her handicap and previous cancer and is now using a walker to get around. She is on a limited income.

This has already put a huge pressure on this family of 4 with2 growing children.

Shawn will not be able to work for a few weeks after surgery and then they will be driving to and from radiation.

I feel like I'm rambling but it's so much. Too much for them to do it all alone.

This family needs your help! So if you could find it in your hearts and budget to help,it will be greatly appreciated. The money will be used for transportation costs, insurance, food, clothes, rent, and whatever is needed to keep this family afloat.
