Shawn Kurtz, my brother-in-law, is facing an incredibly difficult journey. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 Anaplastic large cell lymphoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that has returned after six years in remission. This relapse has been devastating for Shawn and our entire family. Right now, he is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy and, in the coming months, will need a stem cell transplant to give him the best chance at recovery. The road ahead is long and uncertain, but Shawn is determined to fight with everything he has.

The financial burden of this battle is overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward Shawn’s mounting medical bills, frequent travel back and forth to New York City for treatments, and helping to cover everyday expenses while he is unable to work. Shawn is not only fighting for his own life, but also for his wife and their 3-year-old son, who need him now more than ever.
