Support Shawn's Employees After Devastating Fire

We are Beth Dennis and Amy Brown, former employees of Shawn's Irish Tavern located in South Toledo.

Unfortunately, Shawn's Toledo was nearly destroyed by fire early this morning, December 9th. Due to extensive damage, the location will be closed for the foreseeable future while repairs are made. This has left nearly 35 part- and full-time employees, many with families, without a job only 2 weeks before Christmas.

Our goal is to raise money to help the affected Shawn's families with bills and to maintain some sort of normalcy through the holidays and until they can return to serving their friends and bar family in the South End. 100% of this fundraiser will be divided amongst the employees in conjunction with a benefit luncheon currently being planned. Details will be added when finalized. All donation records will be provided to the employees for transparency purposes.

Beth spent 15 years as a waitress, bartender, and general manager, and Amy 17 years as a waitress and bartender. The Shawn's family is just that to us. We wouldn't be where we are today without them and wish nothing more than to help them get through this.
